The dynamic of male and female sexuality is not the same.
Women, be they gay or straight, tend to have more a mystique about their sexuality. They are also made to be penetrated. I would find it hard to believe that a self-claimed lesbian would turn down a hot looking guy if he was interested in her with no strings attached and she wasn't already in a relationship.
Men tend to have more of an animalistic and even primitive dynamic to their sexual urges. Society constructs that gay is second class. I don't believe any male is completely hetero, (it just doesn't stand to reason), and bisexual feelings would be more common than most would care to admit regarding males. Conditioning for opposite attracts also can tend to make things easier for males in our society.
TQI has also marred straight to the point homosexuality confounding and distorting it.
