Sometimes adults handle children in the following manner. If one misuses to type of toy for example they taking it away so that no one can have it. That can if not done too often teach some discipline to a group of children.

nothing is QED since we don't live in a closed system and over time, people do people things. maybe that's why killing people off seems so attractive to certain folks
the issue is who you would trust to take the guns. doing it locally presents problems, so doing it on a larger scale would bring much bigger problems.

As to whether they should own guns… I wouldn't call that mental illness. I would call that cognative dissonance. Yes they believe something dumb but those beliefs do not make them imminent threats. So I would not be justified in stripping their rights regardless of how stuipid I think they are and they are stupid.
Stripping rights is not something to be done lightly. Unless you believe yourself capable of stepping outside your own bias you are not fit to judge such a thing. I am capable. If anyone doubts that then let me put it this way. Not even conman has done anything [that i know of] to justify such an action. I would happliy torture the twink loving bastard to death slowly but I wouldn't consider stripping his right to bear arms.

We know based on polling that a majority of republicans believed the 2020 election was stolen and also believed in the Qanon conspiracy theories. We also know that a large percentage of gun owners are republican. Therefore the figure you gave, that "0.1–0.5% of gun owners" believed in any of those conspiracy theories is a statistical impossibility. Stop trusting everything AI tells you, retard.
