I'm not convinced you understand the definition of record. The 70's had inflation in the teens. We peaked around 9% a few years ago. Ironically the 70's inflation was at least partially caused by pressure on fed from the Nixon white house to keep interest rates low. That's starting to sound familiar.

You're retarded so I can see how you're confused. Inflation was a global problem, not just the United States. It was a result of covid, the Ukraine war, and gouging. Any president would have experienced it.

No, it was a result of massive spending by Biden and the Dems.
And when it was happening, you liberals claimed it was only transitory.
It lasted years.
We all lost thousands per year because of it.
And most of those prices will never come close to what they were before Biden. -

And it didn't help when you let millions of illegal aliens into the country. Which lowered real wage growth and was a double negative impact on the rest of us who actually work.
And then when you imposed massive minimum wages, which also forced companies to either layoff workers, increase prices. Or both.
Idiots. -

Did you miss this part?
I already know you blocked from your memory the part where it dropped back down to the mid 2's over the course of the next two years, while he was still president. Completely different situation from a Venezuela or Argentina where it ran away and never came back under control. -

All I know is that I can buy eggs again.
While I still think that $1.80 a dozen is still a bit high, it beats the $8.00 I was expected to pay under the Biden Regime!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

Did you sleep through the spring when they went back up to $8 again for a few months?
No. I didn't sleep at all. One of our friends raises chickens. They were producing in abundance. Free eggs for Easter!

Egg prices hit a record high in March of this year, under Donald Trump.

They have fallen since then, but are still nearly 11% higher than they were at this time last year.

The human body was not designed to eat those disgusting things that raise cholesterol levels and cause heart disease and cancer.
So no human needs eggs.
