Should I go to my Daughter's funeral just to eat cake?

Long story short, my daughter died. My wife and Son really want me to go to her funeral but I've never been a fan of funeral services to be honest. Not to be rude, I find it boring and I just don't like it. But one thing I do like….is cake.
I love all kinds of cake. Chocolate cake, sponge cake, carrot cake, swiss rolls, buns, pavlova and soo much more. My love for cake is probably why I weight 40 stone haha.
But anyway, I've heard there's cake at funerals so it makes me a little more interested in going, but I don't know if it's appropriate to go to my Daughters funeral just to eat cake? Don't wanna upset the wokies lol.
Should I go for it?
