I have been watching Death Valley, and can now speak English in a tolerable Welsh accent.

Nobody can put on a Welsh accent. They think they can but always end up sounding Indian. Even actors can't quite do it.

I get that about sounding Indian! The lilt also reminds me of some speakers from Trinidad.
