You did not celebrate Black History.
You did not celebrate St. Patrick's Day.
One Month versus One Day? No contest…
By the way, I have the box set of ROOTS. We watched that over a few nights in February, and I wept as that poor little girl was ripped from her mother… Truth be told, that was nothing to celebrate.
    Here's to PATRICK!
You asked a pretty question; I've given you the ugly answer.

St Patrick's Day isn't even American. I didn't celebrate Cinco De Mayo either.

By the way, I find this very offensive…
Okay well since you wanna be down with other cultures, on Africa Day smear black polish on your face and eat your food without utensils.
Do black people eat without utensils??? Is that really the way you eat?
I've never celebrated any culture that way, but I'm always willing to learn!
Being black, is that the way you eat?

Yes Africans eat with their hands. You were too busy trying to force black Americans to celebrate a white man's holiday from another country.
                I'm not an African.

                  Some food for thought for

The following is a comment on YT to the movie Sinners (2025).

Blacks, black people, black Americans. These three phrases all mean the same thing and you are trying to create fake outrage over certain ones to drive childish indignation responses.
                  Also,
                  "Irish People weren't these things."
A fake outrage claim that actually has no basis in history. They were in fact taken from their country and their continent to end up in the USA and other places. Their cultures were altered by the experiences but they took steps to preserve some of them just as the blacks.
This is all a fake argument based upon fake comparison of atrocities that you want to pretend happened to only one group when they didn't.
And your claim of being treated less than human was false as well. They [
                  the Irish
] had to fight their way out of that status and they got nothing for it. It just got forgotten. They didn't have a war fought to free them or anything like that. They just had the systems that were enslaving them slowly and quietly made unprofitable.
If you don't want what blacks endured downplayed, do not downplay others. That is the damned point and you fail at it trying to make one group's trauma the only trauma that matters. And then use that trauma to justify everything else and make false claims from it beyond that point.
Learn the realities of your damned history and stop pretending you are unique. Accept these things happened to multiple groups. You got more out of the ending of it than any other group did. Benefits that you can still take advantage of today and are mostly squandered because you want to play that you are oppressed because of things that happened in the past when groups like the Irish didn't get that luxury.

I feel so bad for the poor fish waking up to find their water has been temporarily dyed green. They probably thought

were the ones imbibing the hooch!

Drink up! Dick Van Dyke used to be an alcoholic too and he's reached 100.

                          St Patrick's Day is over.
Thanks for the info on Dick VanDyke. I know about that, having seen interviews on the matter.
Not certain as to why you felt the need to tell me about it, other than this being an entertainment site.
I may have to start drinking again if I want to get to 100!
                          Have a nice day.
