      I spent a long time in university and I've also done a lot of traveling around the globe.
      I agree theater is a rather strange 'sham' to either work in as a profession, or to be absorbed by as a hobby.
      It well falls under Plato's Theory of Aesthetics in every way. But –that being admitted –it is (in my opinion) no worse than anything else in life which is itself also sham.
      Can you name one thing in the world which isn't a vanity, a deception, trifling, and rigamarole?

              I think getting hands-on experience helps. I feel filmmaking should be done through apprenticeship, not school.
