The WORST Zombie Flick? WORST?

The Revolting Dead is possibly the worst I've seen, that or Zombie Chronicles. Both were unwatchable for me. Day of the Dead 2: Contagium is extremely bad as well. It's easier to watch a film like Virus as it has a vague nostalgic charm being so old, the ones I've mentioned were made in the 2000's and just look like they were thrown together by a couple of stoned 17 year olds with a DV Camera.

i really like this flick. it makes me laugh and laugh and laugh.
as for the worstwell nightmare city is up there (that ending made me want to kick my tv screen in) but i've got to give that dubious distinction to Day of the Dead 2: Contagium (the whole thing made me want to kick my tv screen in). awful, just awful. -

The worst movie zombie movie ever made would might be quite a feat if you're including all the recent shot-in-the-backyard-with-Dad's-digital-camacorder-and-sold-to-suckers-on-the-internet epics of recent years. Most of those are just plain unwatchable. This, or perhaps "City of the Walking Dead" or the aforementioned "Incredibly Strange Creatures" might be called "the worst zombie movie, that is still unintentionally entertaining".
Also, don't forget about the (mostly Italian) "zombie porn" films like "Erotic Nights of the Living Dead" or "Porno Holocaust" or my personal favorite English-language title "Erotic Orgasm" (is there another kind of orgasm?). The idea of trying to combine undead zombies and flesh-eating with softcore (or sometimes hardcore) porn is every bit as ridiculous as anything in this movie.

Not even close to the worst. Any tool that says that has not sat through Return of the Living Dead 2,4 and 5 or the beep Dawn of the Dead 2: Contagium or Zombie Lake (and it takes a LOT for me to pan a Euro Trash zombie movie)
Or watch Les Revenants I dare you. -

I'd like to think that I know a lot about crap movies. Hell of the Living Dead is by all means a total crap movie. But it's the right kind of crap movie. It's totally absurd, the dubbing is amazingly bad, the wildlife footage spliced into it is hysterical, everything is a total beep in a good way. I totally don't understand how people who call themselves zombie movie fans can say that this movie is the worst zombie movie ever. I mean, it's got blood, guts, bad dubbing, and boobs, which to me sounds like the perfect formula for this kind of movie. I also can't see how people say that this is the worst zombie flick considering that there are movies like Zombie Lake, Oasis of the Zombies, and Alien Dead out there. Again, these are still crappy, crappy, crappy movies, and they still have that certain so-bad-it's-good kind of charm to them, but they do totally suck. Especially Oasis of the Zombies. What a turd of a movie that was. I'd also like to point out that nobody has nominated Alien Dead for worst zombie movie of all time. I don't know if too many people know about it, but if you love bad movies, then it's totally one to check out. It pretty much has no redeeming value to it at all. But it's still better then Oasis of the Zombies.

Garden of the Dead! I thought I was the only one that saw this!
Zombie Death House is a stinker, and if Vampires vs Zombies qualify, then I absolutely loathe that movie.

"Flesh Eater" is like a student film combining Friday the 13th with a zombie from the original "Night of the Living Dead."
Unwatchable.
"Zombie 5: Killing Birds" makes "Zombie 4" look like "Burial Ground." Or to translate, "Killing Birds" is completely unwatchable, while "Zombie 4" is almost unwatchable. Of course, "Burial Ground" aka "The Nights of Terror" is a mssterpiece with the incomparable dwarf-playing-kid Peter Bark.
So, I say a tie for worst zombie flicks goes to "Fleah Eaters" and "Zombie 5: Killing Birds." -

"Hell of the Living Dead" is bad, but at least it's laughably bad in it's ineptitude, and it's never boring.
As far as worst zombie movie, I'd say that it's "Curse of the Screaming Dead" aka "Curse of the Cannibal Confederates", followed by "Oasis of the Zombies" and "Meat Market." -

I don't like the term "so bad it's good". Who cares if the humor is unintentional? Is the filmmaker's intention really relevent at all? All that matters is the final product and the viewer's interpretation. I don't know about the rest of you, but I watch movies to enjoy myself. I enjoyed the HELL outta myself with this flick so I would say it's a great movie. The stock footage is GENIUS! HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD is definitely one of my favorite non-Romero zombie movies, along with the sleazy BURIAL GROUND and the underrated GRAPES OF DEATH.
If you guys think HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD is funny you should check out the filmmakers' (Director Bruno Mattei and writer Claudio Fragrasso) other work. The writer, Claudio Fragrasso, would later write and direct the comedy masterpiece TROLL 2 (of which Bruno Mattei supervised on). Bruno Mattei has directed other amazing movies such as CRUEL JAWS (hilarious Jaws rip-off), SHOCKING DARK (Terminator rip-off), STRIKE COMMANDO (Rambo rip-off), and ROBOWAR (Predator rip-off). Bruno Mattei was a smart filmmaker and sought after the lucrative markets. He was a great journeyman and while none of these films are as gory as HELL OF THE LIVING DEAD, they're great in their own ways and they're all extremely funny.
Worst zombie movie? I don't consider any of the DTV zombie movies real zombie movies, nor do I consider any of the recent zombie movies "legitimate" zombie movies. I would say Zombie Lake was pretty damn unsatisfying though considering it's an 80s eurozombie flick (which I normally love).
