Oi, folks,
So, after a bit of a binge-watch of The Walking Dead, I got to thinking – if the apocalypse hits and you're out there trying to survive, where on earth would you find intact stocks of freeze-dried food? I mean, in the series, they’re always stumbling across these neat little caches of rations, but let’s be honest, it feels a bit far-fetched at times.
Do you reckon places like military bases or emergency relief centres would still have some decent supplies, tucked away in storage rooms? Or perhaps a well-hidden supermarket warehouse or specialised food shops might still have a few untouched packs lying around? Maybe even bunkers or large warehouse distribution centres would be good bets.
But seriously, where do you think people would realistically come across some intact freeze-dried food in a world gone to pot? -

Look for a single- or two-family home built with stone.
You'll always find something in the basement.
