yeah it happened in the year when the first season launched. he was accused of approaching minors and planning parties with certain intentions but he said it was lies. the allegations were never confirmed, so idk. he got written off the show bc of that probably.
he was lead actor in
Winter Spring Summer or Fall
after all that and was Jenna's co-star (who agreed to work with him again this closely), so that tells me that the allegations weren't true.

Honestly, he was like 19 or 20? Even if the allegations were true, I wouldn't necessarily cancel him for talking to a 17-year-old at that age
A two or three year age difference isn't a huge deal.

That's very true. I probably could have phrased it better (and I haven't even read up on what the allegations are in this case), but I would consider a relationship between a 17 and 19 year old far, far more acceptable than one between an elderly man and a woman who is (barely) an adult. It's a tricky question, for sure, though. Obviously I wouldn't extend the same grace if he were the age he is now or if the minor was, say, a high school freshman rather than a senior.

Percy is a aight in my books afaik. he's a good young fresh actor who made an admirable statement after the allegations came out. good for him and i wish him well and that's all that counts for me right now.
