Yeah, but the great thing about Golden Axe is you got the beat the crap out of those little gnomes every now and then to get the power-ups and that was satisfying

FIFA/EA Sports FC. The scripting/dynamic difficulty/momentum (whatever you want to call it) radically changing gameplay so everything either flies in the top corner, or your centre halves become Millard and Frankenfag and wouldn't be able to use a toilet unaided.
They then shoehorned women into Ultimate Team, which was a blessing in disguise as it made it easy to walk away from it. Women's football is an atrocity that should be made illegal.

Shadow of the Beast (Out the same time) was a much better game than Altered Beast and so was Blood Money (Also Psygnosis)
Of course Blood Money went on to eventually become GTA and so there's not even a comparison in what was the best game out of those 3

I didn't. I went round my mates to play it. I still had the Atari ST and that was 2nd hand. Still the best memories though.

Ah, batteries.
Those greedy morons at Sega thought they were being clever making people buy that adapter when it was already compatible (just different cartridge sizes).
They would've sold more Game Gears and more ****ty Master System games if they'd just designed it honestly. No wonder their hardware business died.

I jumped a little too high, "broke my leg" used about 12 bandages to heal but it wasn't enough, I then bled to death and lost about an hour's worth of progress.
Complete waste of time.
