Why does a book like this exist?

My only issue is that it says the reading age is 3+. Like a 3 year old would not understand the concept of pride or sexuality at all. Make it for kids at a stage where they’re learning about who they are as people and actually starting to explore their own identity. Seems more appropriate for middle school level to me

right that shouldn't have been in there. they could have made illustrations of a family holding a pride flag together or something to make it more child appropriate but having men in leather suits when this is meant to be suitable for preschooler age is inappropriate

to create questions about things little kids never thought about and couldn't possibly understand while in a classroom setting with a ultra liberal authority figure that is paid to guide them through that confusion with whatever framing their trained to give the kids.
This spreads the mind virus and will also drive a wedge between them and their parents by preying on the child's good nature.
