What's the purpose of this image and it's use in a children's book?

The CEO of Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. is not overseeing the publishing/distribution of books at Simon & Shuster. That is being handled by someone well below Henry Kravis, and they are no doubt someone on the far left. No one else is depraved enough to approve of a children's book with that kind of imagery.

just proved you wrong and you just come back with that lame reaching.
He doesn't have to oversee everything but one would expect a company owned by a MAGAt to follow a MAGA agenda.

My only issue is that it says the reading age is 3+. Like a 3 year old would not understand the concept of pride or sexuality at all. Make it for kids at a stage where they’re learning about who they are as people and actually starting to explore their own identity. Seems more appropriate for middle school level to me

right that shouldn't have been in there. they could have made illustrations of a family holding a pride flag together or something to make it more child appropriate but having men in leather suits when this is meant to be suitable for preschooler age is inappropriate
