Rosie O'Donnell saved a woman's life

Rosie O'Donnell has revealed that she saved an elderly woman from choking to death in a Dublin restaurant.
The US comedian was out last night with her cousin and her friends, for what they assumed would be an ordinary meal.
On The Pat Kenny Show, Ms O’Donnell explained that whenever she leaves the house, she becomes “very hypervigilant”.
“I always notice what’s going on,” she said.
“So, I see an older woman with, I thought, her two daughters and all of a sudden I notice she starts to choke.
“The daughters stand up, I’m watching and I’m like, ‘That woman’s choking, that woman’s choking.’
“Then I get very loud, ‘THAT WOMAN’S CHOKING.’
“I get up, I almost knock over the tables - we were in the bar area - and I run through, it wasn’t very crowded.”
Ms O’Donnell continued that she had completed first aid courses and explained to her friend how to help the woman.
“I was standing in front, holding her, checking to see that her mouth and her throat were clear - which it was,” she recalled.
“She’s got tears in her eyes and she’s turning red - and I’m now starting to panic.
“My friend is not doing it exactly right, so I scream to the whole restaurant, ‘CALL 911’ - only to find out later there is no 911 here.”
At that point, Ms O’Donnell took her hand, put it over her friend’s and pushed down on the woman’s chest.
“And out came a big hunk of steak, I believe,” she said.
“Everybody started to cry and it was very, very emotional.”
Afterwards, Ms O’Donnell was so upset she felt unable to eat and instead sat there shaking and weeping.
“I look over, lovingly, to Angela, this 90 year old woman and she’s finishing her meal,” she added.
“She’s eating the rest of the steak, I couldn’t believe it.
“At moments like that, you really feel that God is somehow in your life and helping you get to the places that you need to be.”
Ms O’Donnell moved to Ireland after Donald Trump’s return to the White House.
The two New Yorkers have feuded in public for decades and last week Mr Trump announced he was considering revoking her US citizenship - something which he has no power to do.
Ms O’Donnell has Irish born grandparents and has applied for Irish citizenship through Foreign Birth Registration.

How long has she been there to still have "911" ingrained?
I dunno if they have an easy to remember emergency number but I would think she should know.
I get it she was in a panic and wasn't thinking clearly but if I moved to another country I would first find out who to call for emergencies and prob. not yell out to call 911.

Besides overseas voting, if there is such a thing for American citizens abroad, what other rights and privileges would she lose even if she never came back here to live?
If she is at home now and losing it is no loss then what's the point?
Reminds me of that time when a winning team said they would not show up at the Trump WH and then a butt hurt 45 said he would not invite them!

I'm not sure when she moved there, but yeah, you'd think she would know the emergency number.
That was funny that the woman kept eating.
I don't know if she'd lose any rights, but I assume she plans on coming back after Trump is no longer in power. -

I think if I almost choked to death I would lose my appetite for a while and be really nervous next time I ate.
