All you care about are votes.
By any logical measure you should be the most anti-Muslim people on the planet.
They hate gays, they treat women like secondary citizens, they are passionately religious and will foist their beliefs on others with violence and murder.
But the moment the GOP criticized Muslims you started pandering to the Muslim vote in America (part of that 'umbrella') and, by extension, you started supporting Muslims worldwide, no matter what they did.
Only a Muslim can go into a gay bar in America, kill nearly 50 people and wound at least that much more and liberals blame the gun, not the man and not the religion. Muslims hate gay people more than anyone. Before they released who he was liberals were blaming Christians and conservatives for the mass shooting.
Only a Muslim can shoot and kill 13 people in a military facility, wound more than 30 and have it called 'workplace violence'.
During both instances, were you concerned about the victims? Nope.
Your main concern was backlash against the Muslim community.
