The Bale movies are among the best Batman movies out there….
I prefer the more serious tones to Batman than the campy 1960's or Tim Burton Batman….Affleck was a decent Batman but it wasn't until The Flash that I felt he nailed it. Pattinson did a great job of portraying Bruce Wayne as a detective, the riddles in the movie were excellent. The Michael Keaton movies were good except the campy crap and his portrayal in The Flash was more aligned to the serious Batman of the later movies.
I only wish Ledger had lived because TDKR would have been a masterpiece like TDK where the Joker was supposed to be the one handing out the sentences instead of Scarecrow.

I agree.
Bale seemed to or played the right combo of both Wayne and Bats.
Keaton was just too much of the everyday man type in his other roles to be taken seriously in that one.
The other ones that came after him and between Bale just did not have the right Wayne look as Bale has.
I have not bothered with Affleck, who I think is too serious, and Patterson was OK but not as good as Bale.

I agree. Bale's Batman films were for morons who thought they were somehow getting deep stuff. Tim Burton's Batman was the best: a lot like the comics, and delightfully over the top in a slightly tongue-in-cheek way. Bale's Batman seems to have read Ayn Rand or Existentialism for Dummies.
