I googled Kenda Cruise and it looks legit. Started on Jan 11. Very odd though

He's got all sort of pics on his Twitter feed from what I saw of him and Kenda. He's also showing some pics from the New Year. Although in one it doesn't quite look like Kenda.
Anyway, I'm going to try to find the source of those quotes. If Kenda did say it, I believe it.
Here's a link to more discussion about Carl which also contains the supposed quote from the book. I say supposed because I haven't yet read the book.

There were several cruises that were arranged by both Joe Kenda and Carl Morino and their spouses. Many of the Colorado Springs officers that were on the show also attended. Joe did a Q and A every day. I never saw Joe and Carl interact with each other.

It's no wonder an actual cop who dedicated his career to public service would think a liar and criminal like Marino is the lowest form of scum. What does not make sense is why the TV show's producers and network would continue to use Marino to portray a respectable cop like Joe Kenda. Marino's record of dishonesty, scams, and serious criminal activity is very public. He's gone out of his way to damage police officers, such as the case where he lied to a police chief and filed a false complaint against his lieutenant, trying to get the lieutenant investigated and fired by Internal Affairs.

Agree completely. I posted something similar on Marino's page and it got deleted.I said nothing un-factual or malicious. I wonder if he reads the boards and reports posts about his past as a "dirty" cop. I know he had to write his own biohave you read it?!

He probably does delete any unfavorable commentswhen a Bay Area newspaper did a story about all the crimes he committed, including setting up a respected Norcal winemaker to be arrested for a DUI, Marino commented under an alias about how he was a good guy who did the right thing. When all the rest of the people commenting that he was in fact a scumbag who committed numerous crimes and only blew the whistle when he did not get to be on a reality show, Marino blew his lid and started commenting in the first person. An attorney has all the comments, both his third person ones and his first person ones (under same username).
He even went on national TV shows to boast about snitching on the dirty private investigator, he just left out the part where conspired in numerous criminal scams while working for the PI.

My brother was murdered in Colorado Springs in 1984. Kenda was over the agreed with me that it was a case of premeditated murder. The grand jury decided it was the 2nd "make my day" shooting in Colorado and no charges were filed. When I tried to get time on the cruise to speak were I felt like I was ignored and he didn't have time for me to answer my questions. I found his wife to be more compassionate and understanding. I found Joe to be very cold and rude.

What really threw up red flags for me was that it says on Carl Marino's bio that after West Point he became a member of the police force. My father-in-law went to West Point. You don't just graduate. You have to serve 5 years minimum of military service afterward. Plus, you finish as an officer in the Army. Funny that there is no mention of his rank in the bio. He is obviously a sub-par liar. Very disappointing to have him portray such an awesome police officer. I love the show though. Fortunately it is not because of Carl Marino. Unfortunately, I noticed the lefty-righty thing right away. It jumps out at you.

I know why he doesn't think very highly of him. My interaction with him showed me what you see on t.v. isn't who he is in real life.

This guys sounds like a real loser man. Guess he really wishes he was more like his Cousin, Dan Marino. Why would he talk about serving the country? He didn't finish West Point from what I could find. Two years does not equal graduation from West Point, and if he did, he would have had to serve in Army six years as officer, unless he had some special waiver, which I believe is difficult to obtain. Did I read in one of the comments that this Carl Marino was verbally abusing someone that questioned his narrative? lol hilarious, not that he was abusing someone, that he actually responded on social media, complete loser.
