This is one of her better films, but she was a little bit thin in this movie (IMHO) did you notice she wore "skinny jeans", (before they were called that)?
She was a non-traditional body-type for a leading actress, (long waisted), but she got a lot of the wrong kind of attention.
She did do a PLAYBOY Magazine photoshoot, on the condition it would NOT be available in the USA, only Europe. Her movie, THE WRONG MAN, also 1993, was released pretty much the same way, with VHS PAL format (Europe), and NTSC laserdiscs only sold in Europe, but some of those found their way to the USA. It seems there were some VHS NTSC (USA format) rental tapes made available in the USA, but no general sales.
Why?
Europe had far less sensationalized views about the wearing of clothing in general, and movies in particular. They view violence and gunplay as FAR more objectionable than merely not wearing a shirt, a swimsuit top, a bra, or anything. Would you be surprised to know that New York City, NY has had a law on their books since the 1940s that allow women to not wear any upper garment on public property where men are allowed to do the same? (i.e. topless/shirtless)
(Lewd and/or lacivious behavior is prohibited though, and private property can have their own dress codes; like "No shirt, No shoes, No service".)
There was a young Hollywood actress stalked, and killed by someone who also showed the wrong kind of attention I do not know the particular date of that incident, but there have been plenty of other actresses (and actors maybe?) who have also gotten the wrong kind of attention, and justifiably taken legal and police action. Unfortunately, that is still happening.

Well, that would be news to the man behind the "Girls Gone Wild" franchise. He was kidnapped, and held at gunpoint while the perpetrator filmed himself "having his way" with the guy before letting him go, somewhat worse for the experience. -

Her face more than canceled out any hotness in her body. She does have a very pointy face rather common looking. In the end of the film where we see her close up in daylight her hair is dried out like straw. I can't understand all the glorifying of her. I could find a hotter woman any day on the streets of my local town. WTF was with those pop socks.
