As you can see I bought the dvds a bit later but anyway it's awesome to watch the show, the picture-quality is a bit better than the one on tv but it still has that blurry/dreamy look to it which is pretty cool cause that was one of the main reasons I started watching the show when it was on air the dvds ar in a digi-pak and inside you see big pictures of susan ward, lesley anne down, laura harring and adrienne frantz, and all of the other characters are in cast and promotional pics in the background with blue color behind the big pictures and on the cover is also a big promo pic with all of the actors, inside the dvd is a big background with the famous sunset which looks beautiful,it was definitely worth buying it and from the moment I started watching I was hooked again I absolutely would recommened it to you all and if the sales are succesful were going to get more episodes on the dvds like 24 eps.I hope you all liked this little review and if you have any questions 'bout the dvd just ask.

I also bought the DVD (though I cheated and got a colleague who was visiting the German office of the company I work for to bring it back for me!)
It is as great as I remember and I really hope there is the support they need to release the whole lot. I don't care how many DVDs it takes as long as I can get it all!
I am so pleased it was finally released!!!
Just remember Annie and her "fantasies", evil twins, dreams, plots and twists - the far out plot lines are one of the things that makes the whole thing so much fun and so enjoyable!
I have fond memories watching the entire thing as a student and hadn't seen it since so I am eagerly awaiting further releases - please people make it happen!! -

Short episodes are you frackin kidding, all the episodes I've seen were at least 40 mins.long that's one of the reasons why I love Sunset Beach cause it isn't as short as other daily soaps that only run for 20 mins.

I'm watching I'm on episode 4 so far. I didn't watch sunset beach from the beginning so its nice to see it from the start. Wish there were more episodes available. I want to see some of the disaster storylines.

oh its been awhile but i think this show had two big disaster type storyline arcs. I remember one was i think called shockwave and was an earthquake but i think there was another one too maybe involving a cruise ship and a hurricane? i remember it was around that time of shockwave that i started watching regularly, before that i only watched sporadically. I was late coming into this show so i was really disapointed when it was cancelled thats why i would love to have more of the episodes.
