I can't recognize your food. Is it more of a deconstructed kebab, or is that traditionally how they're served? Orβ¦are we talking about different types of kebabs?

Those look like gyros. They would slice the meat, usually lamb, right off of the spit, and make a very delicious sandwich in a puffy flatbread. Then there would be tzatziki sauce for dipping! Mmm-mmm-good!

Why would he just want meat and pita? The vegetables and meat complement each other.

That's a lot of Shawarma! Basically almost every strip mall has one.
They are the number one food after a late night of drinking. That's probably the same in England.
We even got the self-declared Garlic King.
maybe a gyro? I had kabobs that looked more like a gyro before
