I just noticed that FX's The Shield Season 6 we2000bsite (http://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/originals/the_shield/main.html) lists Franka Potente as the newest cast member. She plays "Diro Kesakhian" the daughter of an Armenian mob boss.
Anyone know why that's not listed on her IMDB Filmography? -

she was great in this episode 06.08 of The Shield, great role as the mob daughter who continues the "work" of her dying father. i hope she'll be in more episodes! i think her german accent worked good for this role.
a beautiful and great actress! -

I just red an article last night that explained the Shield's loyal following in France. Apparently, they are shown 3 eps ahead of the U.S. This seems strange to me if only because of the risk of spoiler leakage and such, and as an earlier poster mentioned, although jokingly, it is kind of screwy that it is on delay in the U.S.-the show's homebase.
The article is in Entertainment Weekly-the one that just came out with Spiderman on the cover(before the newest issue with J Depp on the cover). -

Could be one of a couple reasons.
-its impossible to make corrections here because its impossible to contact moderators or admins
-pretty sure its "pay to play" here, for the actors listed. I'm sure imdb takes a fee for every update, photo posted, credit listed. That's gotta be annoying (the internet is run off advertising revenue when will they learn?) -

I ran to IMDB as soon as the episode was over and noticed that too.
I wonder if The Shield didn't want to list her credit until it aired just to have a bit of a surprise factor when her role entered play.
Makes me also wish I had checked when Forest Whitaker started his role last season to see when he was credited here. -

If you notice, most of the guest cast for this season aren't up. That's not to say none of them all - just not very many (and I've noticed a few aren't even accurate). I think a few actors drop their names here in advance, but some don't and rely on user submissions. Hence, why many TV series guest cast won't show up until after the episode have aired, and even then you have to take the slow approval time into account.

She is listed on the IMDB website. I am on Season 6- Episode 8 watching it for the third time! First occasion, I like to watch and enjoy, second time; to observe, and the third time to analyze it and to look for goodies I may have missed, like cameos, props mistakes, things out of place and actors and actresses that I may recognize in other TV shows or movies!
I have been a movie lover since I was a little kid! Thank you very much for your time, patience and understanding!
