There's Doctor Who story were the Doctor takes Rose to New Earth and they meet some cat nun nurses and the Face of Bo (Again) there
That's kind of the like the Book of Revelation Ghost Kid
Both stories deal with the fate of humanity after the end of the world, 'New Earth' literally and Revelation cosmically. Both offer a vision of renewal, but with the prerequisite that everyone suffers horribly first. They each treat plagues as tests of faith, ethics and endurance. Doctor Who uses them to question scientific morality. Revelation uses them to showcase divine wrath and dramatic flair. Both have messianic figures who return after absence. Both offer redemption (one with nanotech and the other with fire and glory). Only one wears Converse and says "Run!"
Bodily corruption and identity are major themes in each. Cassandra clings to life through others' bodies in New Earth while Revelation warns of losing oneself to evil forces and possession. One ends in eternal judgment. The other in a hug. Both new cities emerge from collapse. But while Revelation’s is perfection achieved through divine design, New Earth is what happens when humans (and cat nun nurses) try to DIY utopia themselves
They both believe in the power of renewal and both feature miracles and monsters
And both, in their own kinda way, tell us that things might end, but not all endings are the end END
