I came home and saw her in the backyard, chawing down on some leaves. I didn't want to open the door and spook her to take a picture, so I took pics through the screen window, but all I can see is crosshatching. She didn't come out. My goodness, she is so big! She is so beautiful! I really wish I was able to get a good picture of her. Wow, she's such a stunner!

We have them here on one of the islands I visited
The may be on all of the islands

We have a lot of deer in the area given I live in the woods, but this is the first time I've seen a doe so close in my backyard. I see them crossing the street, I've seen them in other peoples' yards, but now, she's coming pretty close to the house. I'm going to put out some apples and carrots for her to see if she'll eat them.

Are there any bears in your area? They occasionally roam in the city here. Seeing as your in the woods, I'd expect there to be some?
