I listen to a lot of music, and there are so many genres to enjoy, cool videos to watch, listening to tunes in the background, swap things up depending on my mood…
I also don't tend to read fiction (I prefer non-fiction books), but I can't imagine not being able to watch my horror flicks or mystery movies.
It's a tough one.

Do you read physical books, or do you prefer e-books?
I can't imagine not being able to handle a book and settle down for a nice read. I'm very tactile, so feeling the book in my hands is nice.

Both. Don’t prefer one over the other. I do like that you can adjust typeface and font size and read in dim light on the Kindle.

Odd we don't have or didn't have these concerns for the checkout lady at the grocery store when everything went self checkout or the guy that used to mow the lawn before the mowbots came to town. More odd still that we would concern ourselves with artists that have powerful unions to protect their interests. In other words I'd not concern.myself too much for their well being…they'll do fine. Accountants…maybe not so much so.

Nah, actually I did think about the checkers when I started seeing self-checkout machines popping up all over the place. Then I realized that they still seem to require people because of mistakes made by the machines – sometimes it's because someone is trying to misdirect the scanning, but other times, it's a totally weird and random glitch or misperception that ends up locking the machine up requiring a clerk to come over and "reboot" whatever misreading was taking place.
It's sort of like getting rid of the people who would push the buttons on the elevators. Or the men who would open the front door to stores so people wouldn't have to touch the door handles. Or the gas station attendants who used to do free full-service and fill your tank, wash all of your windows, check the air in your tires and check your oil on a regular basis. Heck, there are even machines that milk cows in place of real people.
One of these days, people really will wake up in pods if they ever decide they want to wake up.
