            I think the biting scene is the only reason why this is R. That part was kinda bloody.

              It really is the atmosphere, the way it's shot and how overall creepy it is. There wasn't that cheesy, silly cheap jump scares that you always see in movies. And I'm glad because that wasn't the point of it. It tried to be different and it succeeded.

                I don't think anything about it warranted an R. However, I was thankful, because that meant less annoying kids in the movie who scream at every obvious jump scare, or talk through the movie.

                  I think the creepy mood and tension was the key reason this movie got an R rating.
                  You've seen Guy Standeven in something because the man was in everything.
