We still have a store like that! It's called Real Groovy and it's brilliant.

πŸ‘ I'm not surprised you still have cool record shops in New Zealand. NZ had a thriving music scene in the 80s/90s via Flying Nun Records and bands like The Chills, The Clean, The Bats, Tall Dwarfs, Chris Knox, etc. I don't know what's coming out of NZ these days but I'm sure it's interesting.

NZ music is not as interesting these days, but you could say that for music in general. I have so much NZ music from the two decades you mentioned and it's brilliant. Good times!

Oh yeah, I've seen that one before. More memories. Unfortunately, the metalheads I knew were always such music snobs and had no tolerance for punk or hardcore or anything that didn't sound like Metallica or Guns N' Roses.

I was thinking about getting a record player but then it's just more junk to store.

                        Do you like vinyl?
I like the sound of vinyl better. I like that it isn't so sterile and stripped.
