Basically you are right. According to the famous rule of three…- 3 minutes without air
- 3 days without water
- 30 days without food
…and you are dead.
Of course, there are
free divers
who can go much longer without air and there's Alexander Ludwig, who's Björn, the son of Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) in the series Vikings (2013-2020).
Handsome Alexander Ludwig can survive 21-30 days without water as he fought the bear like
"The Revenant"
did.
Except his
Viking bear
wasn't in the least drugged, but wide awake.
The show is reminiscent of the great New Zealand movie

One of my favorites too and not just because it takes place in NZ.

Without question, one of the best scenes the cinemas ever saw.

I've watched the first episode and really liked it…will continue in a few.
When he said to the strange suicidal couple in the Vegas-hotel, that he
"missed 3 weeks"
he just meant that he missed the news for three weeks. He was in the middle of nowhere when he was bitten by the rattlesnake.
We don't know exactly how long he was looking for rocks before he was bitten.
And he also woke up and drank something while his body successfully fought off the snake venom.

I know it must suck, having to watch everyone you love die while you live, I get it. But at the same time, you now have America all to yourself, wouldnt you wanna explore a bit first? Maybe try and go to Area 51 or the white house or something? See if you can break into Langley and read all the CIA's secret files and ****, discover the answer to all the questions people have been asking for years.
Nobody in any apoco movie ever ****ing does this and it pisses me off, it would be one of the first things I would try and do. -
