Strange. Ive never seen this before but it seems you can't delete messages.

No, but you can edit them. And that means you can knock them down to just a x or an emoji. Works well.

I thought of that but its not the same thing. Deleting is a basic. I dont see why we dont have this. Strange. It would be less cluttery. Especially for Threads.

Yea I read afterwards. I understand the disappointment of removed messages BUT it should be left to the poster if he wants to remove them or not. Imdb had a strange but pretty good system in general of removing messsages that were insulting, inappropiate, among many other things. Im sure that many of the messages that were taken down by imdb might make boards seem empty and ugly. But who knows what were in those messages many times if these messages were there the thread might of looked even uglier. I am sure that sometimes imdb deleted messages based on the number of flags it got but that didnt mean those message had to be taken down. But overall I think they did a great job on deleting messages. Now this is not imdb. There is a difference between being monitored and wanting to delete messages for whatever the reason. I think that would help for starters the memory you guys carry and secondly delete unnecessary clutter. A sticky for important messages through the site would be great I think. That way people that have a question for example why did Riddick wear googles? Everyone can read the thread thats already there. Something I dont know why imdb didnt implete. Instead they had a million people asking the same question and then delete them and have new people ask the same question. That was updated imdb. When they went memory conserative. Before it wasnt like that. But still I think that wouldve helped the site. To have stickies to very important stuff. Now I dont know how the memory stuff goes with you guys or how it did with imdb since they tended to delete everything made me think they did to save memory/ money. You seem like you dont want to delete anything. I wouldnt want you to pay for unnecessary memory. Plus getting rid of clutter is also a good thing. If I errornously came on here and said where the logout button? and then I found out that I just didnt look right and most likely felt embarrassed as well. Why werent there be a delete? and If were to enter misinformation to make it seem like erase like Nzer suggested. How would that look? A site full of empty messages but with smiley faces. The Madhouse. HAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA!
