They could end the programme after the immigrants who were promised a certain status achieved that status. A nation's promises should be kept, as far as possible. You can't play fast and loose with people's lives.

In the next 24 months let's say President Trump did such a thing. And then Gavin Newsome won the next election and said I am sending all 20 Million White South Africans back. You would then be up in arms right?
Would you obviously say to Newsome you can't do that. Those 20 Million White South Africans were given a promise and a Nation should always keep it's promises. That's what you would say, right? -

It is a racist response to the way the migrants who are here both legally and not are all being treated.
There is no other way to explain it when they are beaten, or worse, before during and after getting arrested.
