the shelters aren't filled with designer dogs
they are filled with pitbulls and other baby killers
I want a dog that I can take for walks without worrying about it biting a neighborhood kid
There are even
"designer dogs"
(purebred) in the shelters.
But true, smaller purebreds most often find a new home more quickly.
Others (big and small) were
innocently
(!) sentenced to life in prison.
Which unfortunately still means
Death Row
in many US-American pounds.
You only want to satisfy your own needs and look for shady explanations.
So don't ever use the word
"rescue"

there’s nothing I can do about that problem. Im not going to adopt some mystery mutt just to virtue signal about rescuing it from a shelter. you can go ahead and adopt Tyrone’s baby killer from the shelter if you want
