I hate to be the one to break the news to you, but Reagan was elected in 1980 and he served two full terms.
I'd throw in another newsflash and tell you all about the Iran/Contra "scandal", but all the details might be too much for your fragile mind to handle. I'll cut to the chase and just inform you that during Reagan's presidency, congress cut off the funds for the war he was funding in Central America, so on the sly, he sold TOW missiles to Iran. -

I saw Biden giving a speech recently.
He was bragging about how he closed the border.
I saw trump giving a speech about how the US shut down the airports in the Revolutionary War/War Of 1812 era.

after Iran sent a truck bomb into beirut in 1983 and killed 280 marines and wounded hundreds more, ronald reagan- whose portrait trump displays prominently behind his desk- did nothing against Iran for the 5 years left in office.
