I guess this parasite is very rare and not even found in my Province. The hibiscus trees were imported from New Brunswick and that's where the parasite is found.
It was a very unusual case.

£1,200 was the initial bill when my kitten got sick and then for the following year several more hundreds spent on further vet trips/overnight stays until he finally passed away when he was a year and four months. Poor little thing got such a bad deal, it was honestly a relief to know he was at peace.
