It was a cool gadget for families that traveled with children.
I guess we have tablet PCs and smart phones to keep them occupied while on long trips?

Tablet PCs made them unnecessary just like on airlines. Plus in the last decade I saw way too many people driving and ****ing with their screens watching a movie than I care to think about.
