Yeah, it's sort of dumb that Obama couldn't just get a birth certificate. Intelligence agencies and law enforcement fabricate this stuff all the time.
There did seem to be a lack of people who corroborated Barrack and Michelle's background story. But I guess that all became moot when they made that movie. As we all know, once there is a mainstream movie or documentary, it's canon and that's what everyone thinks they remember going forward.
