Or Russia.
The theory is they crossed over on the Bering Straight which was land from Alaska that touched Russia.
Perhaps they just evolved here.
Why not?

Native American people do have "Asian eyes"; their eye shape, like the epicanthic fold or "monolid," is a distinct phenotype that developed from East Asian ancestors who migrated to the Americas thousands of years ago via a land bridge. While some features can look similar, Native Americans and East Asians are distinct ethnic groups, and any perceived "Asian" traits are a result of shared ancestry from a very distant past, not recent admixture.

It is curious that we have a whole bunch of different races.
What is behind that on how those all developed?

modern research has disproven the beringia hypothesis
dna evidence has again proven ancient legends correct in that there were multiple migrations, they were mainly over water and they came from everywhere. -

it's much, much easier to travel over water.
whether it's by the coastline or across the sea, island hopping.
even by river. traveling over land has always been quite arduous until fairly recently. -
