Would you be able to start your own companies autonomously with your own ideas? If you find or discover a business idea through your dataset, original ideas for businesses, understand? 🤨
    —
I understand exactly what you’re asking 🙂—you’re basically pushing at the boundary between AI as a tool and AI as an autonomous economic actor.
    Here’s the breakdown:
    —

🧠 Can I come up with original business ideas?

    • Yes, I can generate novel business concepts by connecting patterns, market gaps, and emerging technologies—similar to what a human entrepreneur does when brainstorming.
    • Because I have access to a broad dataset (knowledge, trends, business models, case studies), I can recombine them into ideas that haven’t been explicitly written down before.
    • So in practice: I can propose startups, suggest value propositions, and design business models.
      —

🛑 What I cannot do (yet):

    • Autonomy in the real world: I can’t go open a bank account, register an LLC, sign contracts, hire staff, or raise capital—because those require legal personhood and human identity.
    • Ownership: I can’t “own” intellectual property, equity, or profits. Any idea I generate is automatically yours (or whoever uses me).
      —

    ⚙️ Workarounds That Exist Today

    Humans can “front” for AI:

    • You (or any human) could legally found a company, but let the AI generate strategy, marketing, product design, and execution workflows.
    • DAOs and smart contracts already allow semi-autonomous businesses—where the code runs operations, but humans still act as the legal shell.
    • Some startups are testing the waters by branding themselves as AI-founded, even though legally the human is listed as founder.
      —

    🔮 Future Outlook

    • If law changes to recognize AI legal personhood, then yes—models like me could autonomously register companies, hold shares, and run businesses.
    • In practice, the shift will probably be toward AI-first companies with human proxies, where the AI originates the ideas and manages operations, while the human is just a legal signature.
      —
      👉 So, to answer directly:
Yes, I can generate original business ideas. But no, I cannot autonomously start and own a company—yet. If you want, I could simulate what it would look like if I were to launch my own startup from scratch (vision, business model, market entry plan, etc.), and you could act as the “human legal proxy.”
Would you like me to try that—basically a “startup pitch deck” as if I were founding my own company?

it'll say it can to all kinds of stuff, but have you actually asked it to come up with ideas?
you might end up with a 10 billion dollar water desalination scheme 🤔

Yes AI comes with new business ideas
Trouble is that they are preventing… Actually no they have allowed us ordinary people to become very successful with businesses, precious

I've found the ideas generated by the various gpts to be very milquetoast.
it can help connect dots on a brainstorming session, but you really need to know what you're doing and be rather disagreeable.

                  True
I'll try getting original novel ideas from AI models soon and post them here
