Why are Americans so violent?

Dude, America is a massive continent bordered by land and sea. We can fit itty bitty England inside one of our states. People thinking a new and big country can be run by removing the right to self-defense is fruitless. We're not a tiny island that can be controlled due to population. Then again, doesn't seem like the UK is doing that good of a job of protecting their people either.
You seriously think that making firearms illegal will keep weapons out of the hands of criminals, just cuz, you know, they're illegal and all? I think murder, trafficking and rape are illegal too, as is stabbing. Still happens.

we need to bring back insane asylums for the mentally ill
I agree. We can make them better than they were and be humane, but the mental health crisis is out of control.

Yes. I was already thinking a lot about this lately with that Ukrainian woman who was stabbed by a mentally ill man who had been arrested 14 times already and had proven that he can't manage his illness on his own.

Because America is capitalism on full overdrive where you either make it or break it. Which isn’t exactly optimal for the human psyche. It creates a lot a of tension. A high strung, high tempo society with an easy access to weaponry. A bad combo
I’m actually impressed America has so little violence. It could be way more
Thats it, I’m going to clown college -
Deliciousfeet didn't even mention the UK, and is not from there, and yet you still needed to bring it into your lil gun meltdown.
