I didn't get as into it as some people. When I did play with them, it was mostly with the LEGO men. I was more about making up stories with my action figures. I actually preferred to play by myself… unless it was my friend's Power Rangers. Something about them called for teamwork.

My son went through a Power Ranger phase but luckily it didn't last long. He was mostly into Pokemon.

I couldn't get into Pokémon. I think maybe it took off just as I was getting into older kid stuff like skateboarding. It was seen as something nerdy, and unfortunately, at 11 and 12 years old, I worried too much about what other kids thought.
I've come to love the original Japanese show Power Rangers used footage from Super Sentai. Still just as cheesy, but with a little more story.
I was probably most obsessed with Ninja Turtles as a kid. Still love it lol.
I ate up anything to do with martial arts and mysticism.
