Okay…here's my take…what is a generation?
A time span from our parents having us up to our having children ourselves. This is on average a 28year span. Some have children in their teens while others have them in their 40s. But we take an odd approach when designating generations by pretty much cutting that average in half? Wait what??? A generation is 14-15 years? Is that not drifting into the Epsteinsphere of appropriate reproductive age? Regardless…we now want to even shorten the nonsense of naming generations and all the weight it suddenly carries in oyr society to what…every five to seven years? Ludicrous!
Unnecessary!! And at some point childish and a practice we should move on from!!!
I've made it very simple and totally void of the Appalachian vibes the Stoopid formula created. TWENTY year generations ..NO ACCEPTIONS!

Ah I thought you meant the idea of a gen between Boomer and X was odd but you think the whole concept or the way they (generations) are calculated is flawed right?

Exactly, way too much cultural change post war for everyone of that generation to think alike. But then the whole idea of any generation being exactly the same is bizarre.
