I'm not really sure, but I think we have a pack of coyotes in the area

I was outside walking my dog for the last evening potty adventure when I heard what sounded at first like a baby screaming really loudly. Then I heard what sounded like a mixture of barking noises but mostly howling mixed in with this ungodly and unhuman sound. It was definitely not a fisher cat. I heard those before, and they tend to be solitary, letting out a solid, single "scream" that sounds like a woman (specifically) being killed. This was a pack and definitely canine in nature. I don't know if they took down game or went after neighbours' dogs that were left outside for the night. I just know that whatever it was, there were several of them and the "barking" didn't sound like when dogs at the dog park get together and bark and howl. The whole debacle only lasted about 1-2 minutes, but that felt like a lifetime when I was out there in the dark among the trees.
WTAF did I just hear? It stopped slowly, as well. As if one by one, a bark, howl or voice was stepping back or withdrawing from the fight or whatever it was.
Keeping in mind I live around a lot of woodlands and it's not unusual for us to be visited by the wildlife. In all the time I've been here, I've never heard these sounds before.

Have you heard this before? I've been here for years and I've seen and heard all kinds of wildlife, but I have never heard anything like these sounds in my life. I was definitely on full alert and so was my dog. He stopped in his tracks. I know it went on for more than one minute because I was standing perfectly still and debating if I should call the police because of those weird screaming sounds beyond the "barking" noises.
I've lived on a 200 acre ranch and we'd have coyotes come up to the back of the house at night (because the barn with livestock was nearby that we always had to secure every night), and I got used to quite liking the sounds of their howling, but man, this included yelps of pain and….something else. I can't get it out of my head.

Obviously a pack of
rabid Dumbocraps.
They're currently lost in the wilderness with no leadership or policies.

I have wild coyotes roaming about in my (wooded) neighborhood. I sometimes hear veritable explosions of high-pitched howls and barks in the wee hours. Here are some samples I found on YT that are similar to what I hear:
