I agree with Trump that there are a lot of important issues going on simultaneously that need immediate attention, and in the grand scheme of things, this may be down on the list. Or at least down on his list. However, this was a massive fumble on his part. The way he interrupted and was so reactive when it came to Epstein is a red flag. Now, there could be many reasons for that, but there are still a lot of people who are invested in wanting justice for the girls who were trafficked and want those names. We've seen glimpses of flight logs already and Dershowitz has come forward. This is causing a big fracture in his base.
There are people that will love Trump and follow him whatever he does, regardless. I cannot get behind that.

It's obvious he's trying to cover up for someone (if not himself, then maybe some other powerful or rich person who perhaps begged him to get the public to stop talking about it). At the end of the Truth Social post, he's trying to trick (is "gaslight" the right word here?) his supporters into dropping the Epstein subject by saying nobody cares about it.

As far as I know, there's no evidence nor have there been any claims of Trump's impropriety with regards to Epstein. Yes, he's been pictured with him, but so have a lot of people because Epstein was infiltrating powerful circles. The difficulty includes not assuming everyone who met Epstein was involved in child pedo activities. However, besides Virginia Guiffre there were five others who came forward to testify about others being seen. There is the man who wired the cameras in Epstein's homes who spoke on the record about installing all of those cameras and how fastidious he was with regards to how sneakily those cameras were placed.
This is not going to go away. Elon may actually have had access to information (as he's alluded to) and if Elon releases it, good for him. I don't care who's on it, we want names, and we want accountability, and if Trump is one of them, he can face the consequences and burn with the rest of them. Epstein's endeavours went on for so many years, there are thousands of victims.
If this is a big nothing burger, then why is Maxwell in prison and what "black book" did she have locked away in evidence and sealed? This is really bad. Anna Paulina Luna is trying to get an independent investigation into this, but there's only so much she can do. We'll see. But this is not what anyone voted for.

My personal opinion is that this all links back to Israel, but that he also had ties to the UK, Russian and American intelligence. There are people, on both sides of the aisle and across the globe that are still alive and in power, who are calling in favours, offering favours or making threats.
As you said, this is not about Epstein. This is about the victims!
