Not a single socialist country has thrived. But hey, I guess that doesn't matter. It sounds so idealistic except for the people who understand how socialism gets funded. Nothing is for free. Ever.

Remember Penn & Teller and their bit about "wealth redistribution"?
They just seem so hard-headed. Nothing, anywhere, is "free". There is always a cost and it always has to be paid by someone.
What gets my goat is to some of these socialists, they're getting more money than other people (even if they're not Bezos-style rich), so to "others", they are "rich". How would they feel about "their wealth" being redistributed to other people?
It's all such nonsense.
