Actually it may be the other way around.
When the voters see the illegal deployment of the military upon peaceful protestors exercising their constitutional right to do so, that could be another nail in the coffin for the Retardagains for their midterms.

The President has the constitutional power to deploy the military in cases like these, especially when the Mayor and Governor refuse to control the situation. And the military is only there to
protect federal property.
