My road to success

I spoke of my massive water desalination project. However, to get there I need more money. Thankfully that big money project is not the only idea I have been sitting on. With the advent of ChatGPT it has finally become possible to overcome to gaps in my knowledge.
My other idea is going to be much easier to implement. They say, "Build a better mousetrap and the world will beat a path to your door." I have designed just such a trap.
My trap will be self resetting. Very few traps have that capability. My trap will also be self emptying. No other trap on earth can do that. None. Some traps have a storage option. One of the most popular ones is the bucket trap. A dab of peanut butter on a roller suspended over a bucket with some water in it. I will grant that that IS a good trap. And it is cheaper than the one I have invented. However while it does store quite a few dead mice it has to be manually emptied frequently to avoid rotten odors. And if it is left to rot that smell will drive mice away.
My trap literally flings the corpse several feet away from the trap. There will be a dial that adjusts power so that you could aim and land the corpse in a trashcan. I imagine that the most common use for my trap would be in areas with high rodent populations. Places like feedlots, poultry farms & warehouses are the best candidates.
My trap will also use a unique kill method not used by any other trap. My trap can run off a wall cord, will have a 12v battery backup and I am considering rigging it to run off solar like an electric fence unit. That would allow it to be set in areas that don't have external power sources. I am designing it for mice but already have a plan that would allow a skilled engineer to scale it up 50% so that it would handle both mice and rats.
I figure I can get a deal for licensing at 3% easy. I will scale the deal so that if it sells more than 100,000 I get 4% and more than a million units would net me 5%. If I can get it built I will have one of the first units sent to Shaun Woods of the Mousetrap Mondays YouTube channel. He has 1.93M subscribers. Getting my trap demonstrated on his channel would instantly garner attention for my invention.
My trap would be built to a high standard with an anticipated lifetime of 7-10 years even with heavy use. My trap would be capable of killing again and again every few minutes for as long as it had power. It would use a scent lure that would last nearly 3 weeks. That would be the extent of human intervention necessary.
Though my design would be the most efficient on the market it does have a couple downsides. First the price. Depending upon whether it is kept at current size or scaled up it will be expensive. Price range could be as little as $99 or perhaps as much as $300. That will be up to the company that licenses it. The other downside will be the size. This will not be a small trap. It will be narrow but 20-30" long.
However despite the few downsides of my design it will kill more frequently and efficiently that any other rodent trap in existence. This will be my stepping stone to designing my massive desalination operation.

I love the fact that it flings rat corpses into a trash can.
For those who live in a high rise apartment in a big Dem run city, you could shoot them out a window into the street below.
Name this thing something like
FLYING DEAD RATS
DEAD RATS CAN FLY
DEAD RAT AVIATION -

Indeed.
Redneck entertainment. I intend to place bets on how long after it is released to the public before videos of dead rodents being yeeted thru a basketball hoop into a trashcan hit the net.

Part of the reason I posted this was to savor your bitterness and butthurt. First Trump won and you got all bent out of shape and now I am going to make bank and am rubbing your nose in it. It most be terribly intolerable for you. As bad as it is just know that you deserve worse.

Nope. I asked chatGPT just how far the trap could fling a dead mouse based on 5 critical factors. Things like the average mass of mice and the speed of the motor. At full power i could potentially get a distance of 25ft. Though I did not ask how high of an arc that would be. I will ask that next. That would likely limit distance indoors. I rather think the redneck entertainment quality will be a nice selling point. There are already jokes about bug zappers being a redneck entertainment console. Well, get ready to add mousetrap to that list.
