The

r was fought
for freedom.
World War II
was fought to
stop Fascist Aggression.
The Korean War
was fought to
stop Communist Aggression.
The Vietnam War
was fought to
stop Communist Aggression.
The Iraqi War
was fought to
depose an evil dictator.
The USA acquired
ZERO land
as a result of these wars.

The American Revolution was fought in part to open up land for settlement west of the Appalachians (the British had closed it off to settlement, limiting it to the native groups that lived there).
The Germans and Italians certainly wanted land in WW2.
Iraq was about land, specifically the oil beneath the land. -

The American Revolution was fought in part to open up land for settlement west of the Appalachians (the British had closed it off to settlement, limiting it to the native groups that lived there).
The Germans and Italians certainly wanted land in WW2.
Iraq was about land, specifically the oil beneath the land.
The Soviets (Russia & Co.)
wanted and got some land in WWII too, from the start.
You can ask Poland what exactly happened in 1939.
