I strongly dislike dentists

I have a love/hate relationship with mine. I go regularly for cleaning and checkups.
As my teeth get older, along with me, I find my visits are becoming more frequent.
I like my dentist and my hygienist, but lately???
I get the feeling that they like me and my money more!
The pain is in the wallet!

There is a definite correlation, to be sure. Besides anesthesiologists, I think they are some of the most expensive professionals.
My most recent endeavour has been costly, but also quite time-consuming requiring multiple visits. Right now, my eye is swollen, my gums hurt, my eustachian tube on that side is swollen, and I even have swollen glands on that side. My body is rebelling - heavily rebelling - against the work I had done this morning.

I am guessing my pain is due to all of the swelling in my gums. I've been downing Tylenol as much as I safely can, but nothing is making a dent.
I've had positive experiences with my dentist, and I personally think she is wonderful. This is simply a matter of what I need to go through to finish the healing process.
I mean, if something as small as a poppy seed or raspberry seed can feel like a rock in there, when it comes to the mouth, be the work big or small, it's
all
going to hurt.

If you take good care of your teeth you won't be having anything done at the dentist that causes pain.

In Russia they have to deal with the first rotten teeth in primary school.
