SBN is a partial Pentecostal world-wide church that broadcasts on television, in the United Kingdom it is on Freeview 96 (now 94) twenty four hours per day seven days per week. Some but not all of the Power Services and Evangelical Services have add-ons including speaking in tongues and being baptised with the Holy Spirit. I have found their preachers namely their founder Jimmy Swaggart and his family to be sound in their teaching if not a must-hear church. They also broadcast over the internet - ie you can listen to their worship songs while doing other things on your computer - and they have a radio station. While it is a free service in that they do not charge anything to watch and listen to it, they do ask for tithes and offerings from their congregations and from television viewers, which goes to their outreaches such as to build churches or schools in other countries or to get Bibles to people. So if we watch it a lot and get our spiritual nourishment from it, then I suppose giving something every now and again is good. And if you want to contribute something to their Share a Thon's which keeps the network on the air, then we can do that too.
