Using Christina as an example of what's normal in the US is wild.
So is googling all the **** you're rambling on about like beans on toast. That's a snack in britain not something considered a meal.
A roast dinner that takes 6+ hours to prepare/cook is basic in america? Ya'll can barely afford to ****ing eat or pay your rent and you're saying a roast dinner is basic? Okay. Someone has never cooked a roast dinner in their life.

There are tiers and the indigent like Fugazi gets free healthcare. UK physicians are ****ty. You get what you pay for. We arenβt on a year long waiting list for surgeries like you all and we pay for dental.

Never thought or said it was a meal.
Most if that 6 hours is leaving it to slowly cook. That's like a lazy meal for me because I just put it in a crackpot after browning it with all the stuff (adjust for veggies that cook quicker/slower), and it turns out soft and full of flavor.
Cuts of meat for roast aren't expensive.
A lot of your roast dinners look dry and slathered with gravy to cover the dryness. -

The results of a superior food health system.
The U.S. has a more extensive foodborne illness surveillance system (such as the CDC's FoodNet program), which tracks and reports foodborne illnesses more comprehensively than the UK. This results in more cases being detected and reported in the U.S., even if the actual prevalence of illnesses might be similar to the UK.

The bulk of modern music owes a lot to Mississippi and Louisiana for jazz and blues which rock and roll evolved from.
There are some great UK bands (Joy Division for example) but overall, US wins music.
