Oh yeah, mainstream media has been pushing this same exact brain dead garbage also. Everything is Republicans fault, if something bad happens to a Democrat it's Republicans fault, something bad happens to a Republican it's Republicans fault. You should certainly be able to baselessly and constantly label half the country as racists and bigots and Nazis and existential threat to muh democracy and dictators, and if some nutbag believes that garbage bullshit and tries to kill a Republican, it's not the result of "dangerous rhetoric," but the fault of Republicans for being Republican. Democrats are never at fault or to blame for anything, Hell, even the most obvious, like slavery and Jim Crow, which was 100% Democrat, they blame on Republicans.

His goal was to "fight for freedom and human rights," he wrote in his book.

When I first heard of this it made me think he wanted to kill The Donald because Trump is the only candidate suggesting that he can be the president to bring an end to the Ukraine war.
I think that could be another possible influence even though we cannot say for sure what it was.
I don't think either political side is to blame.
Instead I blame Ryan since he is the one responsible for his actions.

This is correct, individuals are responsible for their own actions, but overall there's a wildly different standard held for Republicans than Democrats when it comes to rhetoric.
I don't think Bernie is responsible for a leftist shooting up the Republican baseball game, I don't blame Democrat rhetoric for BLM and Antifa rioting, and I don't blame Trump for people rioting at the Capitol, I blame the individuals, however the media and most leftists only blame the individual depending on the political leaning.
