Yes, but about half of it was from small donors, aka real people. The ones whose preferences have almost 0 impact on what policies get passed according to studies.
Almost all of Trump's spending came from large donors, Aka billionaires. The only people whose opinion matters when it comes to making policy, according to those same studies. So you still lose.
